Last sessions for Summer 2019!
We’ll be back in September with workshops and coffee mornings! Before then we have 2 final sessions.
One of the main reasons we provide opportunities like these for parents and carers is simply to give you opportunities to meet other parents. It can feel isolating sometimes when you have a child or young person with additional needs, and having friends who understand the journey – who you can laugh with over the stresses and strains can be so very valuable! So you don’t need to feel like you need to get anything from the sessions more than company!
Our Parents and Carers Summer Sessions are something new! We are teaming up with Reach NW and Breaking Barriers to bring you kids activities whilst you enjoy the parent session.
The parents and carers session is all about ‘being a carer.’ Normally we focus on children and young people, this session will be about you as a carer. We’ll also be adding in a bit of fun, some down time too, for lunch, and to spend time with other parents.
Mondays’ session has spaces only for adults – the kids activity is now full.
Tuesday has spaces for adults and kids!

Our Ask Anything Workshop is going to be extremely informal! We’ll be talking top tips and last minute questions with Cheryl Wyatt and Nan Cooper! We’ll also have a buffet and wine, so why not join us and just enjoy some time with other parents, a glass of wine, or even just a hot cup of tea!
