Update – October – Thank you to everyone who joined us on Fridays for these sessions! They definitely got the blood pumping and heart rate going! We may look at starting them up again at some point in the future!

As we return to a more normal pace of life, the impact of lockdown seems to be taking it’s toll! I don’t know about you, but I seem to be huffing and puffing more than ever before!! Working from home has resulted in joints ceasing up, and lets not even talk about the waistline (what waist?!)
It only turns out that Frankie, our coordinator here at BPC has hidden talents and is a qualified fitness instructor – so we thought, lets take advantage of this! Frankie is going to be online on Friday mornings where you can join in with a session – we considered calling it a workout, or fitness …. but we went with movement! Let’s just get moving again and get the heart pumping a bit! At the request of one of our long-time lovely coffee morning attendees, there will be exercises for those who are in a chair to get the upper body moving a bit.
We’re running it as a webinar format – this gives us lots of security to the ‘broadcast!’ Basically you can only join in if you are invited, so no dodgy zoom-bombing! Also it automatically means you don’t join with video or camera – so you can rest assured whatever is going on at your end is complete unknown – that includes if you stop for a biscuit after 5 minutes! You will be able to see and hear Frankie and I’ll be joining as co-host to support with the technical side to allow Frankie to get on with the session.
