Autism in Schools – St Joseph’s Secondary School

Welcome to Autism in Schools

St Joseph’s Secondary School have joined the Autism in Schools Bolton project this year.

The project includes staff training alongside gathering parents and carers views and pupils views, to improve the experiences of pupils with autism.

For parents we will offering a workshop training session where you can access the same training that has been provided to staff in the school.

The workshop covers content covering Understanding Autism, Sensory, Anxiety and Meltdowns. 

We will hold this session on 3 dates, so hopefully there will be one that suits you. Please note – all sessions are the same workshop.

Thursday 27th June: 10:00am – 1.00pm at The Bolton CVS Hub

Friday 5th July: 10:00am – 1.00pm at St Joseph’s School

Thursday 11th July: 6:15pm – 9.00pm at The Bolton CVS Hub

The sessions at The Bolton CVS Hub will be combined parents from Little Lever School and St Joseph’s School. The Bolton CVS Hub is located in Bolton Town Centre, click here for details of how to find us.

We will provide refreshments at all sessions.

These sessions are being delivered as part of the Autism in Schools project and are solely for the parents of the schools involved in the project.

We understand that, especially as parents, things do crop up, we just ask that you please let us know if you won't be coming to the session.
